Ok, here it is. Probably the most important game in 23 years.
If we win, the Hull game becomes the most important.

The importance of the game has been highlighted by the referee appointment. Premier League referee Stuart Attwell will be the man in the middle, with Constantine Hatzidakis and Dan Cook as the assistants and Josh Smith as fourth official.
It will be the first Championship game that Attwell has officiated this season, with the referee taking charge of games in the Premier League, Europa Conference League and the FA Cup.
During his 18 Premier League games this season, he has shown a total of 86 yellow cards and just one red. The bad news for Forest is that in that in the six Redsβ games he has taken charge of, they are yet to record a win.

Don't go on past Forest results with him in charge (whenever they were); look at present Forest form!!
Forest WILL be promoted this season - whether automatically (which would be the best!) or through the play-offs. I have had this feeling for some time now.

Unfortunately, Bournemouth were the better side today, but we were due an off day. The good news is we brush ourselves off and go again in the playoffs and we get a practice match on Saturday with a chance to rest a couple. Davis should certainly be in contention. It doesnβt matter who we face.

the referee and linesman made a Β£200M mistake and admitted it to Cooper. We score from the Surridge effort first half or the penalty, its a different game. I'm hurting right now but despite them being dominant 2nd half, I feel we were robbed.

The worst start in 150 years cost us promotion. The blame for that lies only with CH. Just think what could have been if we had SC from day one. We have made the play off lottery. This is something none of us could ever have hoped for after those first seven games.

Frustrating that just never seemed to get going in the 2nd half and probably the worst 45mins in the last 10games. However the most annoying aspect of last night was the "Offside" call. It wasn't even close!!! Surridge was 1/2 a yard behind the defender. Then to compound it all, the Ref & Linesman invite Cooper into the officials room post match to apologise for their 'Mistake' Fat lot of good that's gonna do after the match. Yes we didn't play well 2nd half, BUT penalty, possible red card, 1-0 up going in at HT completely changes the whole set up of the match. They say football is often about Mental as well as Physical strength. When you get truly awful decisions like that in such an important match, sometimes maybe mentally you know it's not going to be your night. It's still been one hell of a season, we just need to Players AND Fans keep our nerve, realise we can beat anyone in this Division on our day and fingers crossed, We'll ALL be celebrating on May 29th

The incompetence, arrogance and even bias of referees (and so-called video-replay refs, too) has also been especially terrible in Germany this season, and longer, with dire consequences for Clubs sometimes! Jude Bellingham spoke out openly about one (who had been involved in a corruption case years ago) and the "strange" decisions he gave in Bayern Munich's favour when Dortmund were playing them; and that such a referee should not have been officiating such an important game. As a consequence, Bellingham was fined β¬40,000 - which Borussia Dortmund paid for him!! As he had only said the truth, they said!
There was another clear penalty that was not given to Dortmund, when they were clearly on top in their game v Bayern; and resulted in Bayern winning the Championship!
Such a pity about yesterday's refereeing; but I still do feel that Forest will win the playoffs - and get promoted. (Have felt this for a while).

Thatβs basically an admission that mistakes have been made. We knew it. Now we know that they knew it.
