we have to have optimism right? Blips such as Cardiff and Luton happen but we seem to have found the art of bouncebackability with Cooperman. I say autos are on until they no longer are. I'm sure his mantra of only focussing on the next game is part of his masterplan to for autos. Whatever, what a season it has become.

i dont think so. I think now Bournemouth found their shooting boots again on Monday its probably all over. What we don't want to do is get really close to it and miss out and then have to pick ourselves up from disappointment for the playoffs. 6 points needed first and foremost.

I think a fortunate penalty they got in the 98th minute possibly makes it a bridge too far but, as we keep saying, its on until it ain't. One slip from them is all it takes. I just hope we have a striker or two fit for the play offs.

A Blackburn win tonight could make Saturday's games interesting depending on tomorrow's results. Just need to better Bournemouths result

It`s in our hands now, but I`m concerned about our injury list. Colback is a concern, the striker situation is fragile and we are in danger of being stretched.
After last night Swansea`s season is over, so hopefully they will be on the Beach come Saturday and it will be an easy 3 points without needing to be at 100%

We always knew we'd probably have to go to both Fulham & Bournemouth & win to be in with a chance. 3pts behind, GD both +30. Their 2 late equalisers in last 2 games still gives them the slight edge, but has definitely given them full on jitters now. A win for us & anything less for them on Saturday would really put the pressure on us for the 1st time. Mind, knowing a win down South could clinch 2nd automatic is a great incentive🤔

This is a unique situation. For several years the top two in the Championship have tended to break away in the new year and ended up taking the automatic slots with the rest fighting it out for the playoffs. This season, the second automatic slot has remained open right up to the last couple of games and it’s pretty much down to two teams. The interesting part is that whoever misses out on automatic still isn’t finished as they are at least guaranteed a playoff spot.
It’s almost like there will be two playoff finals. This is great for the Championship and even the PL are taking an interest in who’s about to join them. I spend a lot of time watching YouTube videos produced by fans of other clubs and the most common comment about Forest seems to be be that we’re a ‘proper’ football club and should be in the PL.
So, if the worse comes to worse against Bournemouth, the season is definitely not over.
