According to John Percy, efl are proposing a 9point deduction with a further 3points suspended. ‘Negotiations’ between derby and the efl to settle it. Why they get the privilege of being able to negotiate their own punishment I have no idea

That’s why I question if it’s a clever ploy. It was all but confirmed they were getting -9 anyway. The extra -3 will have the benefit of helping them clear their debts. With Morris private company owning the stadium, and such a small squad, I wonder what assists they realistically have available to shift
See if we go back for Buchanan with £500k in January.

They also have a previous 3 point suspended penalty if they fail to pay their players again. Interesting to see if administrators are appointed in time to do that this month or if that’s another penalty they’re going to have added
The administrator basically becomes the owner and their priority is to raise enough to pay off creditors. They’re not interested in keeping fans happy. However, as in the case of Fester, it could turn into a good thing long term. It really depends on how good/wealthy any new owners are. Obviously I’m no expert in these matters so anything could happen. Especially with respect to unresolved penalties.
It's so simple to be wise. Just think of something stupid to say and then don't say it.
