Give them a midday Friday morning deadline. Failure to complete existing takeover with ALL objectives met results in Liquidation. Someone will then have to negotiate starting up a "new" afc derby and they start in the 3rd tier of Non League football next season. They've had more lives that 3 Bagpusses!!!

Looks like the CK deal has collapsed and that’s from the EFL.
Ashley ready to pounce, but there may be others.

So, the latest news is CK has until 5pm today to produce the promised money or it goes back out to bidders. What I find interesting is that all the reports talk about finding 20m pounds as if that’s the end of it. What’s forgotten is that 20m is just the start. There’s also the ‘minor’ matter of buying almost a complete playing staff (notwithstanding EFL permission) and subsequent wages.
There’s also the elephant in the room…….Plastic Park.

5pm deadline passed and no word from Kirchner or Quantuma. According to Rob Dorset at SS News, 2 of the bidders no longer have funding available. Mike Ashley won't pay Quantuma costs. All in all, me thinks the sheep are screwed and heading for oblivion. HAHAHAHAHA. No feeling sorry from me. Byeeee, see you at Markeaton Park every Sunday morning.

From BBCRadioDerby
The EFL say they’re “incredibly frustrated” at the time Derby County’s takeover is taking.
They’ve called on Quantuma to provide clarity on how they plan to take the club out of administration👇
Particularly concerned that fixtures out in just a couple of weeks. Looks like they may soon have no choice or will it be 2 sets of fixtures again?

How long will the EFL wait before they are confident that the club can start and complete the season.? I don't think 2 sets of fixtures are required. When Bury were expelled, they just erased their fixtures and went with a team less in the division

Kirchner bid now officially withdrawn. Rosenior going to Blackpool. Rooney will probably walk. No preferred bidder. What a complete shambles and I am loving it....

People in the know say Direby won’t be liquidated, but retaining their League One status is a different matter. Let’s face it, what player is going to sign for a club that can’t even pay their wages. Current players under contract were paid by someone up to July, but that’s where it ends unless a qualified buyer appears tout suite.

I reckon they have 4 days.
If no serious deal on table by 5pm Friday the EFL will pull their membership.
I wonder at what point Quantuma will cash out on the contracted players as a mechanism to reduce debt in the hope of easing a sale.
I am still convinced that HMRC are holding a major hand in this.
CK was paying nigh on £22m up front with additional payments over 3 years at a MINIMUM of 35% of creditors debts.
Take out the Football debts which is now estimated at £6m max, leaving £16m. I reckon about £10m of that was going as an upfront payment to HMRC.

Looks like former Direby chairman Andy Appleby is going to be the savior, although I doubt he’s rich enough on his own, so there must be a consortium behind it. They’ve got just over a week before wages are due. He seems confident, but we’ve been here before.

Looks like Direby have been saved by Clowes (local businessman and Direby supporter). He’s also bought PP. Yet to see what restrictions remain as per EFL allowing transfers.
Putting things in perspective, we have just bought one player for the price of Direby County.

Shock of the day.Rooney has gone. Apparently they’re after a “fresh approach”, which in English means cheaper.
