Not a surprise. He was told at the start of the season that playoffs was the expectation and he ultimately hasn't delivered in the most catastrophic of ways. EM will be furious.
Undecided how to feel about it. We desperately need stability but theres obviously been issues with style of play and tactics especially since the restart. The worst part of all is that wed just given a new 2 year deal so yet more money squandered in pay offs!
What we need is a good manager but also a lucky manager. It has been said that there are fine margins and this last week has proved it. Last Wednesday, we played Swansea and they were awarded a penalty that was not a penalty and gained a point. On the Saturday, they played Bristol City and Bristol were awarded a penalty and missed it and ultimately Swansea won 1-0, 3 points and gave them the chance to catch us. It can all turn on such things, but at the end of the day, we bottled it.

I thought about that Bristol City penalty earlier. They hit the post with it. Had that gone in, we'd have been confirmed as in before we went to Barnsley. Such stupid fine margins and a ridiculous amount of what ifs!
#nffc to take their time deciding what happens next, after the implosion. Would have settled for 7th in June when it was "Sabri Who?", season before lockdown v good. But 10 points from 9 games inexcusable in that position & clearly wider issues than Lamouchi. Not a time to panic
No he hasn't Al and I think there is a chance he may stay as manager. The interesting thing is, EM usually does sackings pretty quickly and that hasn't happened yet and the interesting part of the tweet is the clearly wider issues which is thought by JP to be issues like player mentality and recruitment which is not really pointing the finger at SL.

The only positive to us hiring Nigel clough would be that he’d get the sack at the some point and then he can stop being linked every time there’s a managerial vacancy.
I really don’t get the fascination with him. Poor manager and shouldn’t be welcomed here after some of his actions and comments whilst down the road. Can’t imagine he’s someone EM would ever consider anyway. It would be somebody from the left field in a European league if a change is made

There’s also a crucial difference between him and big Sam. Big Sam has achieved multiple promotions with multiple clubs and had a lot of experience in the premier league across different teams and done very well. Chalk and cheese for me.
Big Sam would be someone I’d be much happier about IF sabri loses his job
